A Message Regarding the Current Pandemic

From Charles Taylor Director, Andy Roe

Further to the ‘Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’ document published, entitled ‘Guidance: Further businesses and premises to close’, Charles Taylor Auctioneers are moving to a wholly on-line basis for a period of time determined by Government. The Auctions will retain a live Auctioneer and appear absolutely as normal to our on-line customers. Viewing will be conducted by photographic and supplementary video only with no access to the warehouse. We will be providing a telephone support service to assist our customers in making their best commercial consideration and you can be assured of our absolutely frankness and honesty in our product description as you have always known us to be.

All bidding will be through our online partner iBidder and you will be required to register to place bids in the normal way.

Our preference for collection of goods would be by courier, however this is not a strict term of trading. If you do attend site you will be required to observe the strict terms of social distancing that we have had in place for several weeks, as well as being required to hand sanitise on arrival on site. All collections will be strictly by appointment only in order that there is no interaction between couriers or customers.

ALL invoices are to be settled by Bank transfer or by iBidder payment link. For the avoidance of doubt there will be no payment facilities at the Auction House and NO Cash payments will be accepted.

We are in unprecedented times. This is both a Health and an Economic problem. You are our Sales team and highly valued, please be assured that wherever and whenever we can we will maintain commercial activity in order that we can all sustain some degree of income. Most importantly however I would like to state on behalf of all the staff here, that our thoughts are with all our customers, their families and their friends.

Stay safe, stay well

Andy Roe
Director
